Interpretive Center Guachimontones

The Interpretive Center Guachimontones "Phil Weigand" (IGC) is an archaelogical educational and entertainment area. It includes social and environmental interpretation, science, and history. It was conceived by the Government of the State of Jalisco to spread and preserve the rich cultural legacy of the archaeological site Teuchitl√°n Guachimontones, Jalisco.

The IGC offers interactive exhibits, videos, activities and educational trails in the archaeological site and its natural environment. The focus is thematic interpretation. The activities promote direct talks and communication with the visitors through their senses, with the objective of enriching their knowledge and life experience.

Attention to visitors is very dynamic; each semester a program of activities under a different theme is offered. This results in different and unique visitor experiences.
